A cash account is an account where investors have to deposit cash to buy shares and a credit limit is given by Maybank Kim Eng Securities (Thailand). The settlement date is 2 working days after the trading date and is carried out via the bank's automatic transfer system (ATS). Investors are required to deposit 20% worth of collateral before trading and this collateral will earn interest based on a rate announced by Maybank Kim Eng Securities (Thailand).

A cash balance is an account in which investors are required to deposit full amounts prior to trading. Deposited money will earn interest based on a rate announced by Maybank Kim Eng Securities (Thailand).

A credit balance is an account in which cash is borrowed from the broker. Investors have to deposit cash or mortgage their securities with a minimum value equal to the Initial Margin (IM) prior to trading.
