On 8 June 2018,Maybank Kim Eng Securities (Thailand)’s staffs have volunteered to join a CSR activity “Paper Ranger volunteer for making notebook for needed children” under supervisor of Foundation for Thai Rural Reconstruction Movement under Royal Patronage (TRRM).The project combined the idea of environmental conservation by making notebooks by hand from used papers for delivering to needed children in rural area.
On Febuary 6 2018, Maybank Kim Eng Donate used calendar to Foundation for The Blind in Thailand under The Royal Patronage of H.M. The Queen to utilizes these calendars to make a braille book as instructional media.
Donated used books and magazines to Stang Mongkolsuk library.
On December 7, 2017 Maybank Kim Eng Securities (Thailand) collected used books and magazines to donate to Stang Mongkolsuk library to use as educational tools for needy school in rural area in Thailand.
On August 19, 2017, for sustainable development project in our CSR activities, MKET continues on savings education project with Bansang School, poor rural school located at Ayutthaya province by donating computers, printers, stationary supplies to the School and also donated tables and cabinets for the School’s co-op. In addition, essay and drawing for primary and kindergarten students respectively were arranged on the topic of “My Savings to Get the Dream Come True”. Moreover, MKET had created learning base activities that focused on savings and economical education to children by cooperating with Suan Dusit Rajabhat University, Faculty of Education.
On May 3, 2017 In memory of King Bhumibol Adulyadej, Maybank Kim Eng Securities (Thailand) gives desk calendar “The King’s life lessons, A guiding light shining in Thai People’s Hearts forever” to Thai Red Crossfor give to visitors and blood donators at Thai Red Cross National Blood Centre.

On 20 August 2016, MBKET organized Global CR Day 2016 activity “Give financial education for the people of upcountry” by bring teacher, student and community leader from Bangsang School, Ayutthaya province, to visit SET building to learn fundamental about saving and investment at Investory (Investment Discovery Museum). MBKET gives scholarship worth a total 160,000 baht to student.
On 13 March 2016, Mrs.Boonporn Boriboonsongsilp, Co-CEO and Mr.Kosit Boonroungkaw, Managing Director of Maybank Kim Eng Securities (Thailand) led hundreds of MBKET staff who volunteered to join in health development and disease control project ,activitity to celebrate the auspicious occasion of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit’s 84th birthday anniversary. More than 100 medical personnel and thousands of volunteers including employees of MBKET will help more than 8,400 pre-registered outpatients at Fort Suranaree Hospital, Nakhon Ratchasima Province.

On 05 Sep 2015, MBKET staff lead by Mr. Montree Sornpaisarn. CEO, gives MBL (Multiple Brain-Based Learning) playground and arranged fun activityes, lunch host and educational supplies to 50 students of bansang school, Ayuttaya province.
Maybank global CR day
On 27 September 2014, Maybank Kim Eng (Thailand) (“MBKET”) led by CEO Mr. Montree Sornpaisarn, together with the Prostheses Foundation of HRH the Prince Mother, took part in “Give Hearts to Our Friends”.
This activity was held around Siam Square, a famous shopping zone in Bangkok. It involved collecting aluminum – especially aluminum can pull-tabs – for the Prosthesis Foundation to make prostheses for the disabled. 75kg of aluminium was collected and MBKET also donated THB400,000 (MYR40,000) to the Foundation.
On 28 September 2013, Mrs. Boonporn Boriboonsongslip, Co-CEO, and Mr. Kosit Boonroungkaw, Managing Director Equities Business of Maybank Kim Eng Securities(Thailand) led Maybank Kim Eng volunteers in a CSR activitiy titled “Create a Brighter World for Low Vision Children”. Children from the association were brought to an agricultural learning centre where they learned about the traditional methods of rice farming through fun activities.
MBKET also donated 100,000Baht in support of the Low Vision Association (Thailand).
On 2 December 2012, volunteers from Maybank Kim Eng Securities (Thailand), joined hands with teachers and students to paint and repair the toilets, meeting hall and canteen of Bansang School in Ayuttaya province which was damaged by the flood last year.
Led by Mr. Kosit Boonroungkaw, Managing Director of Retail Business Development, 35 volunteers from Maybank Kim Eng Securities (Thailand) participated in the Global CR day on 22 September 2012 where they organized fun activities and hosted lunch for children from the Bansang School in Ayuttaya province. MBKET also donated 6 computer sets with computer desks, a printer, a bookshelf with children books, educational stationery, sport equipment such as badmintons and footballs as well as a sponsorship to build 3 main gates, to the school.
CSR Project : Pursue of dream and sharing of love to children who are cancer patients 35 volunteers from Maybank Kim Eng Securities (Thailand) ("MBKET") participated in a CSR project titled “Pursue of dream and sharing of love to children who are sick with cancer and Thalassemia” which was held at Sattahip Beach and Khaw Khaew Open Zoo in Chonburi Province on 8 September, 2012. The fun activities brought the children much fun and happiness and more importantly it serves to encourage their spirits and soul to fight against the disease.
